2025 A Monster of a Show


 
 

Calling All Artists

Celebrate the spooky season, and submit artwork for our monster-themed art show!

The Round Hill Arts Center is pleased to announce a call for submissions for a new exhibition, A Monster of a Show, for the month of October to celebrate the Spooky Season. The exhibit is open to all K-12 students and adult artists that currently reside in Loudoun, Clarke, Fauquier, Warren, or Frederick Counties in Virginia, and Jefferson County, West Virginia. Artwork must be monster themed.

Registration for the exhibit will take place through our website until Friday, September 19th, 2025. The cost of registration for adults is $5 per piece for up to 3 original pieces, and students are free. Drop off will be Saturday-Sunday, September 20-21, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, and drop off information will be emailed out approximately a week before the drop off dates.

ONLY 100% ORIGINAL INDIVIDUAL WORKS

All work must be original and created within the last 12 months.

THEME = Monsters

Artwork subjects should celebrate monsters and all things spooky. Please remember that this is an all ages show and is open to the public

KEY DATES

  • 9/20-9/21, 1-4pm: Drop off art at Round Hill  Arts Center

  • 10/1-10/31: Art displayed at Round Hill Art Center

  • 10/19: Artists’ Reception - 1-3pm

  • 11/1-11/9 Pick Up Artwork


An artists’ reception will be held Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 1:00-3:00pm.

All 2-D work must be exhibition ready, and should be framed with hanging wire attached to the back of the frame. Exception: Works on canvas may be unframed if it is a gallery wrapped canvas with no visible staples and the edges are neat and presentable. All 3-D work must be attached to a base or be extremely stable. All work should be labeled on the back or bottom with the artist’s first and last name, age, and grade (if student), and with a title for the work.

This is not a juried show, and you do not need to submit images. By registering and submitting artwork, you are guaranteed to have your work hung in the show. Pay for adult registrations below: $5 per entry.
